Low Carbon Asset Management noticed that at certain times of the year, availability would dip in isolated areas of the site.  The O&M provider would investigate and be unable to provide a root cause for this drop in availability.  The performance team within Low Carbon Asset Management pursued this unknown recurring  “root cause” event. The analysis identified that the site availability was being affected by sheep dislodging loose string cables.  Low Carbon Asset Management instructed the O&M to tighten every string cable and now availability is not affected by the sheep grazing the site.  A very simple and cost-effective remedy brought about by the tenacity and quality focus of the Low Carbon Asset Management team.
