Parc Solar Traffwll

Site overview
The proposed Parc Solar Traffwll development will have an export capacity of circa ~50MW of electricity. The clean energy generated will save approximately 14,500 tonnes of CO2 each year, the equivalent of taking more than 5,500 cars off the road. It is proposed that the site will be located over seven separate parcels of land; south-west of the village Brygwran and in the vicinity of the village Llanfihangel yn Nhowyn. Located in West Oxfordshire, Eynsham Solar Farm will produce clean renewable electricity with a capacity of approximately 32MWp which could power just over 10,000 local homes. The electricity produced on this solar farm will be exported to the local distribution network (LDN) with surplus electricity being stored onsite in batteries, as well as charging at times of low demand and exporting power back onto the electricity grid at times of high demand or when solar irradiation is low.

Sandon Brook Solar Farm and Battery Storage would be located on the outskirts of West Hanningfield and will produce up to 49.9 megawatts (MW) of clean renewable energy.

Long Meadow Solar Farm

Site overview

Long Meadow Solar Farm spans approximately 55 hectares (136 acres) roughly 2.7km south-east of Saffron Walden and will produce clean renewable electricity by photovoltaic (PV) solar panels.  The final capacity of the proposal is yet to be determined but the area shown is the maximum land area available to us to consider.
