LC Energy is a company formed by Low Carbon and Arnhem-based QING with the goal of developing 500MW of large-scale solar in the Netherlands. In doing so, the LC Energy team – experts with a strong track record in the development of large-scale solar parks – is helping to accelerate the global energy transition.

LC Energy works closely with both Low Carbon and QING in the development and financing of new solar parks. QING was responsible for the development of one of the first large-scale solar parks in the Netherlands in Geldermalsen and dealt with all possible facets including permitting, design, all agreements and financing, environmental consultation, the European tender for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract, and the Power Purchase Agreement. This comprehensive approach forms the foundation on which LC Energy is built.
