Notes for advertisers

One vacancy/course/event per posting
A single posting cannot include details of more than one vacancy, course or event. In the case of job postings there is the obvious exception where an ad refers to a number of posts for the same job. A job title of “Hydropower Engineer x3” is acceptable but “Solar Generation Manager/Office Co-ordinator” is not.

As a guide, if vacancies have different reference numbers or specifications they should be in separate ads.

Payment
We will invoice you at the end of the month for ads posted during that month. We are happy to take payment by cheque, BACS or credit card.

Buttons
Increase your ad’s exposure with a button ad.

Buttons are displayed in the featured section to the right of the home, search and sector pages. Buttons are 85×85 pixels, and must be static .gif or .jpg. Contact us is you would like to place a button.

Company Profiles
Company profiles appear in the lowcarbon.com directory and next to your organisation’s job ads. Shorter profiles are best, we’d suggest between 100-200 words.

Display Duration
Job ads can display for a maximum of 6 weeks. Course and event ads a maximum of 3 months. In some circumstances we can allow ads to run for longer. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this possibility for your ad.

Discount for Linking
For job ad postings, to qualify for a discount the link should be a permanent link on the jobs page of your website and might say something like “Details of these vacancies are also available on lowcarbon.com” where “lowcarbon.com” is a link to www.lowcarbon.com. Links must be in place by the invoice date.
