Carbon Retirement

Carbon Retirement offers an alternative approach to carbon offsetting. On behalf of our clients, we remove emission permits from the EU Emission Trading Scheme and ‘retire’ them, making them permanently unavailable to regulated industry that would otherwise use them as rights to pollute. This directly reduces emissions within Europe by accurately measurable amounts. We want to give our customers a way to buy emission reductions without worrying about where their money is going and the actual environmental impact it is having. As well as providing a cost-effective channel for retirement of permits from the EU Emission Trading Scheme, we offer advisory services around carbon reduction and climate-change communication with staff and customers.
