E3G is an independent, not-for-profit organisation committed to working in the public interest to accelerate the global transition to sustainable development.

We live in an interdependent and increasingly resource-constrained world. We are faced with multiplying challenges to our shared security and prosperity. The pursuit of sustainable development has never been more important but, equally, has never been more complicated to achieve.

If we are to stand a chance of success, we have to be clear about the sustainable development outcomes we wish to achieve. The delivery of complex change requires that the right political conditions and the right policy options are combined to offer real choices for decision-makers. Yet all too often these alignments are left to chance.

Delivering them requires focused action. It means constructing effective conversations on key issues between politicians, policy makers, investors and campaigners. In this way, new propositions are developed and new coalitions for change are built.

E3G makes things happen. We identify and deliver outcomes with strategic significance for the transition to sustainable development. We forge closer alignment between the actions of government, business and civil society.
