The essence of the Environmental Law and Sustainability LLM is that, within an advanced academic context, you will engage with a range of legal issues relating to the environment and sustainability. Matters considered will include, for example, the legal framework for the protection of the environment; the legal rules and policies relating to environmental protection within the European Union and at the international level; the concept of sustainability as a policy consideration and its contribution to informing the legal protection of the environment; and the impact of international economic law on the policies relating to sustainability.
On completion of the programme, you will have advanced your knowledge and understanding, and enhanced your appreciation, of a range of issues of contemporary importance relating to the environment and sustainability.
